After posting a picture of these on Instagram, I had some requests for the recipe... see below.
Also, if you don't already, make sure you follow me on Instagram @shopmylittlemonster . Most days (because sometimes I forget) I post what I've packed for Mason's lunch. My hope is to inspire other mamas because making kid lunches everyday is hard! Keeping it both healthy AND something they'll actually eat... yikes! I've also got a story highlight called "Preschool Lunches" if you want to checkout past lunches. Happy packing!

Our Saturdays are always ear-marked with a nice, big, hot breakfast. During these quarantine days it certainly helps us keep track of the days of the week! LOL
One of our new favorites is this EGG-cellent Breakfast Casserole, courtesy of Rocking Lion. I'm not a *big* fan of egg casseroles (or eggs, for that matter) but this casserole has a great balance of eggs to everything else that I can't help but eat seconds.... and maybe thirds.... or fourths..... and Mason LOVES it too! One activity Little Man has enjoyed is making "Cheerio Bracelets". This is great for toddlers because it works those fine motor skills. But what is a Cheerio Bracelet? It's just Cheerios (or any other round similar cereal (like Froot Loops) strung onto pipe cleaners (chenille sticks) and twisted into a bracelet.
For the longest time, after I would make a dinner that JP and I really liked, we'd say to "put it on rotation". The funny thing was, JP and I had no "rotation" and some of the meals were my own creation, as I was standing their making dinner. No way to save them Pinterest-style! And as great as Pinterest is, sometimes it's hard to comb back through the countless pins to find that one chicken recipe you pinned 6 months ago. Hence.... "The Rotation".
Here's a great recipe you can make at home with kids (including toddlers). This recipe is a tad smaller than the recipe you would find on one of the brand name packages advertising this recipe. I like it because it's perfect for our family of 3 to get a sweet-treat fix but not have to live with leftovers or sugar rushes for a whole week. It's super simple to double this recipe too. The numbers are so easy, I've got it memorized by this point.
